Griggs Hall is named in honor of Richard L Griggs, a local businessman, a University of Minnesota Regent, and a proud supporter of UMD. Griggs Hall consists of 16 different sections built in 4 phases. The sections are 3-, 5-, or 7-floor buildings and offer floors for both male and female students.
